John O'Loughlin's seventh and final volume of short prose contains several fifteen examples of the genre, each of which seems to vie with its neighbour in terms of the extension and consolidation of philosophical political orientation until, towards the end, we virtually enter the realm of aphoristic philosophy with pieces that seem to echo Friedrich wilhelm nietzsche in their style and content.
